There isn’t a DIY/decorating website that probably hasn’t written about chalk paint yet. I have looked at thousands of pictures and pins about the stuff. Some of the furniture makeovers are pretty incredible. The image above is from a vendor at Vintage Market Days. It’s when I fell in love with the stuff. I wanted to use this frame of Mom’s for a dry erase board for my homeschool room.
I stopped by The Pink Lily in downtown Jenks, Oklahoma yesterday and bought several cans of CeCe Caldwell’s Chalk Paint and now I know why it’s so popular. It is amazing and I’m obsessed. I grabbed my first two pieces of “My Mom’s Junk” and these lucky frames were my first makeovers. So far, I have one coat. No priming, no sanding, no kidding! This is my 12 year old daughter Tiana helping me:)
Yes, it’s that easy to use…
She get’s her creative side from her Mom;)
