My vintage hunt prints have been in the vault, so to speak. I loved them because I grew up in an equestrian community but they had become passé. Along with brass, hunter green, and burgundy. I just couldn’t quit them. Glad I held onto them because One Kings Lane just bombed my inbox with Rustic Dining Rooms and Equestrian Chic. I pulled them out of the attic!
A couple of weeks ago, I took my daughter to a homeschool get together. The amazing couple that hosted the party was Travis and Heather Butler. Travis owns Butler Homes. So I spent the night
stalking him and asking him about what is “hot” now in new homes. I was especially interested in colors. You know that I am redoing my dining room. So what do you think the first thing I asked was? The Dining Room. The Suggestion? Fireweed by Sherman Williams. The pictures don’t even do it justice. It’s BEAUTIFUL. Oh…and Travis do you have any hints on how I fix my pickled Oak cabinets? Nevermind.
This week…I am finishing up my dining room in preparation for Thanksgiving. It will be the first time we will all be able to sit around a table without using folding chairs! The house is coming together. Not getting much sleep in;)
