Brand New Services Added!!!!
I’m excited to be adding new services to my blog. Some things are just meant to be. They go together like peanut butter and jelly, biscuits and gravy, and… Pinterest and My Mom’s Junk. That sounded awkward. All I’m trying to say is that Pinterest rocks my world. That may sound awkward too, but the bottom line is that Pinterest makes me giddy. So when I found out that Pinterest was SO important, that some bloggers and companies hired people to sit around all day and make them beautiful pins. I knew I needed that job. Because, as it turns out (blushes), I’m pretty good at it.
Did that sound braggish? I’m sorry. I won’t do that again and I’ll continue my story. Ahem. Last October, an impromptu stop at Urban Farmhouse Designs forged a friendship and jump started my business. It was a win-win for everyone. Cherami Thomas and I just clicked, and UFD gave me the opportunity and the encouragement to step outside of my comfort zone. It worked. I love them SO much. You can read all about them in this post. From the beginning, my favorite part of blogging was the designing. Making myself stand out through my Pins, graphics, and photography. One of my favorite blogs is Ashley Mills of The Hand Made Home. She’s a graphic designer. Swoon.
As you can probably guess, my strongest social media influence is on Pinterest. So I was thrilled when Urban Farmhouse Designs made a board with my Pins! (Pinch me!!!) The icing on the cake was that Little Billy Goat’s Marketing group asked me if they could use my photos for a social media campaign. I replied: “Do you have Dropbox?” I can honestly tell people I’m lucky enough to get paid for a job that I would do for free. Because I really have! There are so many amazing
