Here are a few inspired ideas for giving your windows a fresh look:
New Sew Curtains:
These no sew curtains from my favorite sisters at Shanty-2-Chic are to die for! They made them from drop cloths and paint. I’m not kidding!!! I just bought some drop-cloths from Sherwin Williams for 40% off I’m definitely trying this.
Artsy Chick’s Rule came up with these amazing no – grommet curtains. No sew? Who knew?

Painted & Stenciled Curtains:
Using a stencil and a little paint can transform ordinary curtains into something stylish and chic. Perfect for recreating a designer look without the hefty price tag, a curtain painting project can transform blah and boring curtains into posh and pretty wall coverings. Knock off Décor’s inspiration was pricey West Elm curtains.

Heavenly curtains can be created without spending an arm and a leg. Blizzard white curtains with fun embellishments are an easy DIY project for those who don’t mind spending a little time at the sewing machine. For this project, old sheets create a beautiful ruffle effect that will work especially well as window coverings in a bedroom.
